Site Engineer - Waste water Treatment & Civil Works - Uckfield
Are you a skilled and experienced Site Engineer with a strong background in waste water treatment and civil works?
We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented individual to join our team in Uckfield, working on a challenging and rewarding project involving the construction and commissioning of a new waste water treatment facility.
About the Role:
As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of this project. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the Project Manager in overseeing the construction of the waste water treatment facility.
- Ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and time lines.
- Managing the construction of civil works elements, including earthworks, drainage, and site preparation.
- Supervising and coordinating the work of sub-contractors.
- Monitoring the progress and quality of construction activities.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Preparing and maintaining site records and documentation.
About You:
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer on waste water treatment projects.
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
- Knowledge of waste water treatment processes and technologies.
- Experience in managing sub-contractors.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A relevant degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Membership of a relevant professional body (e.g. ICE) is desirable.
