Description
- Apply stress analysis methods to evaluate structural integrity of designs.
- Collaborate with design engineers to develop efficient and reliable products.
- Conduct finite element analysis to validate structural models.
- Develop and implement stress analysis procedures and standards.
- Document and present stress analysis results to engineering teams and management.
- Participate in design reviews to provide input on potential design improvements.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry and safety standards.
- Continuously update knowledge on new materials, methods and industry regulations.
Profile
A successful Stress Engineer should have:
- A degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of stress analysis methods and practices.
- Proficiency in finite element analysis software.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
