We are seeking a skilled Building Control Surveyor to join our team, providing an effective Building Control service in line with the Building Regulations 2010, the Building Act 1984, and associated legislation. You will play a key role in ensuring the health, safety, and sustainability of buildings while delivering a customer-focused service that supports developers, builders, and homeowners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct site inspections, plan appraisals, and investigations into dangerous structures.
  • Enforce building regulations through effective investigation and legal action when required.
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to ISO 9001 Quality Management standards.
  • Support the growth of the service through marketing initiatives and fee quotations.
  • Assist in delivering the Council's Carbon Reduction Plan by promoting sustainable construction.
  • Participate in the dangerous structures response service to protect public safety.
