Our client is a leading manufacturer and supplier of high-quality construction safety equipment, known for their commitment to innovation, quality, and safety. They are dedicated to providing the best protective gear to ensure the safety of workers across various industries. Due to continued growth, they are now looking for an Estimator to join their dynamic team.

Role Overview:
As an Estimator, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely costings for a wide range of construction safety equipment. You will work closely with the sales, procurement, and project teams to provide detailed estimates for customers, ensuring the company remains competitive while maintaining profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction safety equipment based on project specifications, drawings, and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather relevant data and ensure accurate estimations.
  • Analyze material, labor, and overhead costs to provide comprehensive quotations.
  • Work closely with suppliers to negotiate pricing and ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends and competitor pricing.
  • Prepare detailed reports, forecasts, and pricing structures for clients.
  • Assist in project tender submissions and support project managers throughout the procurement process.
  • Ensure all estimates comply with company standards and industry regulations.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in estimating within the construction, safety, or manufacturing industries is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of construction safety equipment and materials.
  • Exceptional numerical and analytical skills with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
