- Work closely with the Commercial Director developing a sales strategy and identification of continually create sales opportunities.
- Develop a strategy to target local and national business to promote the brand and the commercial opportunities including partnerships, sponsorships, advertising, hospitality and meeting space sales.
- Use preferred methods to generate leads, develop relationships and achieve meetings with key decision makers. ( Telephone calls, emails, personal visits, networking events, LinkedIn and other social media platforms )
- Present opportunities to decision makers and develop tailored presentations and material.
- Secure new commercial partners, sponsors and clients and retain existing partners.
- Hit weekly KPI’s and targets for both meetings and calls.
- Assist in the delivery of outstanding customer service and experiences for partners, sponsors and clients on event days.
- Attend weekly sales meetings and prepare reports.
- Regular upkeep of the internal CRM system.
- Fantastic people and communication skills
- Good sales acumen, and an understanding of the sales lifecycle
- A sporting interest / background would be highly desirable
- Ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients
- Organisation and time management
