Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain excellent working relationships with existing customers while building and nurturing new customer relationships.
  • Customer Visits: Regularly visit both existing and potential customers to ensure ongoing business growth.
  • Budget Management: Work closely with the Sales Manager to achieve sales targets and manage budgets effectively.
  • Customer Support: Act as the first point of contact for customer queries and issues, providing timely resolutions.
  • Negotiation Skills: Negotiate with customers to ensure both the company and customer benefit from the best possible prices.
  • Self-Management: Handle your own expenses, mileage, and sales budget to ensure profitability.
  • Administration: Be responsible for your own administrative tasks, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Promotion & Brand Support: Assist the Sales Manager in promoting the brand and products, including attending UK and export exhibitions.
  • Reporting & Planning: Create a weekly travel plan and report back on your activities and customer interactions.
  • Exhibitions: Represent the company at international exhibitions as required.

Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent Communication: Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Negotiation Skills: Confidently negotiate terms to achieve the best outcomes for both the company and the customer.
  • Organisational Skills: Capable of managing your time, expenses, and travel efficiently.
  • Self-Motivation: Drive to succeed with a proactive and enthusiastic approach to work.
  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate closely with the Sales Manager and other team members.
  • Sales Experience: Previous sales experience is beneficial but not required.
