Sales Consultant - Heavy Plant Machinery

Homebased covering the South UK

Package: £35,000 -£45,000 basic DOE - OTE £55-£65K uncapped

The Company

LWS Services are proud to be the chosen recruitment partner of a world-renowned manufacturer of Industrial recycling machinery. Due to company growth within the UK, there is now an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Sales Executive to join their rapidly expanding team.

Role

This is a field-based, client-facing role and requires somebody who is confident in talking to people and understanding their needs to provide an excellent service. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about sales and has a proven track record of achieving targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Strengthen existing customer relationships and will be responsible for locating and developing new customers.
  • Build & strengthen existing business relationships, planning and organising own diary following up business development and sales leads.
  • Develop relationships with new clients and identify new business opportunities
  • Achieve planned sales targets and goals
  • Promote the company’s services and product range and understand their technical
  • complexities.
  • Prepare quotations and order confirmations
  • Plan customer calls and journeys to maximize your time in the field
  • Prepare weekly sales reports
  • Maintain awareness of competitor activity within the area and any potential impact
  • this may have
  • Liaise with colleagues in various departments including Sales Admin, Parts and Service
  • Represent the company at key industry events, exhibitions and conferences

Knowledge and Experience Required

  • Ideally previously sold heavy plant machinery within the construction industry.
  • From a technical engineering sales background.
  • You will be an outgoing target driven new business hunter.
  • Full driving licence essential.
  • Be willing to travel, with overnight stays in the UK.

Additional Information:

  • Hours - 40 hrs per week (08.00-17.00 Mon to Thurs and 08.00 - 15.30 Fri)
