A leading manufacturer is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join the machine shop.
The Role and Key Responsibilities
My client is seeking a highly motivated candidate with an engineering background to support the day-to-day programming requirements.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Engineering Manager.
Create CNC programs for milling machines.
Work with a variety of materials, including polymers, epoxy board, foams, and aluminium.
Interpret engineering drawings to achieve the desired customer outcome.
Collaborate with cell leaders to determine the most efficient manufacturing methods.
The Candidate
At least 2 years of experience in a precision engineering environment.
Good experience using Autodesk Powermill.
Experience in the Aerospace or Formula One industries is desirable.
Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings & GD&T.
Previous experience using a CAD software is beneficial.
Good understanding of geometric tolerancing.
The Package
The salary offered for this position is £35,000- £45,000 plus overtime to candidates who can meet all key qualifications and abilities.
