Experienced CNC Miller required, Northampton Based Company, Permanent Opportunity, Monday to Friday working with an early Friday finish.

We are recruiting for a driven and enthusiastic CNC Milling engineer to join my clients Milling team.
My client is a precision engineering company who manufacture parts for machinery that are used within the aerospace, automotive, hydrogen, gas and oil and food sectors.

The main aspect of this role will be the programming setting operating the CNC machines to meet daily production schedules. This will include

  • Programming and setting CNC Machines both on line and offline
  • Operating and setting the CNC Machines
  • Using specific software for milling such as CADCAM suite or Edgecam
  • Be able to read technical drawings and work to technical specifications
  • Quality checking the parts made.


To be considered for this role, you will have previous experience in programming and setting CNC machine tools using HAAS and Siemens controls with 3 4 and 5 axis and have experience of using the specified software packages. To have a time served apprenticeship would be an advantage or City & Guilds part 1 & 2 in mechanical engineering however this is not essential.

Having attention to detail, being able to work on your own or as a team are key requirements for this role as well as flexibility.

Friday 7.30 - 14:30
