Good news is the business is extremely busy at the moment working on lots of various exciting projects and are recruiting across the company with this role another crucial hire.
The Job
As an experienced Mill/Turn machinist, you'll be working on components for some of the UK's most prestigious brands. Your level of care and detail will be second to none and you'll strive to produce the components in the tightest of tolerances. You'll be working on a Mill/Turn machine with Fanuc controls and manufacturing small volume high value components.
Experience
Relevant experience working in a fast-paced machine shop within the Automotive/Motorsport industry would be desirable. However, the main experience required is a solid working knowledge of the following:
Mill/Turn machining experience
Ability to set, operate and edit Mill Turn machines using Fanuc controls
Adherence to tight tolerances and high standards
Read and interpret engineering drawings
Ability to self inspect your own parts using manual measuring equipment
This role is working on a night shift, Sunday to Thursday you will get a 33% shift premium for this.
