Salary: £33,400 per annum + Company Pension
? Hours: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM, Monday to Friday

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Night Shift Tool Setter to join our plastics department, operating and setting up injection moulding machinery (60T - 500T) at our Northampton facility. You will be responsible for tool changes, quality control, machine setup, and troubleshooting, ensuring production runs smoothly and efficiently.
This role requires autonomy, leadership, and problem-solving skills, as you will be ensuring product quality and production continuity throughout the night shift.
Key Responsibilities
? Carry out tool changes and set up injection moulding machines
? Monitor product quality and ensure consistency
? Identify and troubleshoot tooling/equipment issues, escalating as needed
? Perform regular tool maintenance
? Work with hot runner systems and various thermoplastic materials (PA, PP, HDPE, PC/ABS, etc.)
? Ensure compliance with ISO9001 (IATF16949 desirable) standards and procedures
? Operate within health & safety guidelines
What We're Looking For
? 5+ years' experience in plastics manufacturing
? Strong problem-solving skills with a "can-do" attitude
? Knowledge of ancillary equipment and processing parameters
? Experience with quality inspection processes
? Forklift (Pedestrian Stacker or FLT) & Overhead Crane certification
? IT literacy and attention to detail
