What is the role?
We are looking for a Conveyancer to join our busy plot sales team in Midlands. This role will be responsible for ensuring that plot sales (including part-exchange acquisitions) are conducted efficiently and exchanges are within the reservation period.
The role will include:
As a Conveyancer you will primarily deal with plot sales, part exchanges and purchases for such Group Companies as are designated to you. You will build relationships with the purchasers solicitors and our group legal department. The role will involve preparing estate documentation, sending out contract documentation, monitoring the legal process as well as managing the transfer or lease process.
What we need from you?
Someone who has an excellent knowledge of residential conveyancing, practice and procedure. Previous experience of handling plot sales for a residential house builder (either in house or in private practice) would be a distinct advantage. It is essential that you are computer literate, have good social skills and a confident telephone manner. You will be expected to work without secretarial support, need to be calm, organised and capable of working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
