  • Handling inquiries from clients, solicitors, lenders, and estate agents.
  • Providing clients with updates and tracking the progress of matters
  • Opening and closing files within the case management system.
  • Ensuring compliance with AML, quality standards, and SRA and CQS regulations.
  • Performing general administrative duties.
  • Preparing and submitting client quotes and drafting completion statements.
  • Reviewing mortgage offers and drafting reports under supervision.
  • Conducting online searches
  • Familiarity with leasehold transactions
  • Ability to prepare apportionment statements for leasehold properties.
  • Reviewing and reporting on searches with guidance
  • Progressing towards checking freehold titles and raising inquiries with supervision
  • Using the Land Registry portal to submit registrations, respond to requisitions, and order official copies, leases, and title plans
  • Calculating Stamp Duty Land Tax and submitting applications.
  • Preparing and submitting invoices, receipts, and payments to the finance department.
  • Providing occasional reception coverage.
Is this the position for you?  
  • A solid understanding of the daily functions of a legal office
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Familiarity with case management software
  • Proficiency in English language
  • Keen attention to detail
