Multinational industrial components, fasteners, consumables and equipment MRO and OEM supply chain solutions provider who offers superb career prospects are looking for a dynamic and ambitious Business Development Manager to cover the UK as a PPE and safety product champion, ideally centrally based in the UK.

BASIC SALARY: 拢50,000 - 拢65,000

COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: You could be based anywhere from the M4 / M25 up to the M62 between the M40 / M6 聽and A1 corridors.

JOB SPECIFICATION: Business Development Manager, Sales Manager - PPE, Workwear, Industrial Safety Products and Technology

This product area has been earmarked by the company as one having particular scope for growth over the coming years with market growth potential of 拢2bn+. This is due to legislation, more rigorous compliance and enforcement and more emphasis on worker well- being and safety.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Business Development Manager, Sales Manager - PPE, Workwear, Industrial Safety Products and Technology

This Business Development Manager role will be a mix of 60% new business generation with 40% of your time spent on existing accounts to develop and leads to follow up.

路 You will be dealing at senior management level at customers including senior health and safety, production, finance, purchasing / procurement up to Managing Director and board level.
路 The new business will come from your own market knowledge and contacts, own lead generation, LinkedIn etc, also the company's database, leads from the locations and internal sales, marketing etc.
路 You will also be a subject expert winning business yourself with existing customers and helping and supporting other Business Development Managers spot and develop their existing customers' business in these product areas.
路 In time, the role may include using your market and product knowledge to source new vendors to compliment and expand the current range.
路 Although this role is at first glance, more product focussed than other Business Development Managers in the company who promote the full outsourced industrial supply chain solution, it is still very much a solution sell; talking at a senior level about broader health and safety, employer well- being, and operational effectiveness, efficiencies and consequently profitability with customers

To be considered for this challenging, but potentially rewarding role in terms of earnings and career potential role you will have:
路 Experience of, and success in, a similar new business development or senior sales role in industrial PPE, safety products and / or workwear and other health and safety related technology and products.
路 You will have an excellent knowledge of the products and market with the scope to become a genuine subject expert, but also with the hunger to generate sales and develop business to major industrial and manufacturing OEM end users at a senior level in a pivotal category/ product range for the company.
路 You will have the drive and ambition to drive your career forward.

THE COMPANY:

Established over 50 years my client is a $23bn annual turnover corporation operating worldwide with a 拢3b+n turnover and 1,800 personnel in Europe. They have a very well established EMEA operation based in the UK of 650 personnel and a large structured sales and sales management function of 230 personnel across the UK and Ireland.

They provide a range of components, consumables and equipment to industrial OEM and MRO markets on a "just-in-time" (JIT), KanBan, inventory system basis.

A household name in the United States, the company is very well established in the UK and EMEA, with a very well- earned reputation for the quality of their service. This role is part of a three to five-year expansion plan and could give very good career prospects for the successful applicant.
