Credit Controller - based Northampton

Job Purpose:

As a key member of the credit control department you will play a key role in supporting the section. You will be responsible for your own set of customers as well as providing full administration support, including but not limited to the raising of credit and debit notes, statements, cash allocation, email correspondence, daily invoices, phone reception and post.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Taking a proactive role in managing and collecting debts of company debtors
  • Raising all returned goods credit notes and adjusting stock
  • Raising all price credit and Debit notes to customers
  • Checking all POD's for discrepancies and daily returns from Logistics
  • Responsible for correct costing of all credit and debit notes
  • Responsible for direct debt payment process
  • Issuing statements
  • Answering the phones, dealing with or directing the query
  • Assist with exceeded credit limits and releasing of orders
  • Support with all other AR/Credit duties

  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Motivated and able to work on own initiative and as part of a small team
