Metalis are currently working alongside a prestigious manufacturing company based in Northampton who due to growth are looking for an experienced Manual Machinist to join the team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Operating manual milling and turning machinery as well as cylindrical grinders
Using micrometers / verniers
Working with a variety of materials including stainless & mild steel
Following engineering drawings and specifications
Adhering to strict health and safety procedures

The ideal candidate must:

Have atleast 3 years within an engineering environment
Have previous experience operating manual milling & turning machinery
Have the ability to work from engineering drawings
Be proficient using manual measuring equipment and inspection equipment

Shifts & Salary:

17.00ph
Days only, Monday - Friday (7:30am - 4:30pm, early finish on a Friday)
