Vision For Education are looking for Early Careers Teacher for supply positions in primary schools across Northampton and surrounding villages.

About the role

Are you a recently or soon-to-be qualified ECT and perhaps not wanting a full-time role straight away? Perhaps you are going travelling first and want to save before heading off? or you want to build your experience in various settings? We can offer full-time supply teaching, where you can work full-time in a variety of schools - or as many days that you want! We can offer Guaranteed Pay Schemes (GPS) so you will be paid whether you work or not - to give you peace of mind about your income. The role can start as soon as you pass our clearance checks - around a week or so from making contact with us. You may also just want to work in the summer term before starting a job in September - we can help with that too!

Based in Northampton, we work with a wide range of Primary Schools in the area. The smallest school we work with has 2 classes, the largest is 3 form entry! We will offer you work in your local area and we can offer you work in your preffered year groups/key stages.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Early Career Teacher (ECT) you will:

  • Have recent experience teaching students in EYFS/ Key stage 1 or 2
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of teaching and support staff.
  • Have a passion for teaching with the ability to plan and deliver inspiring lessons.
  • Have passed your teacher training course.

All staff we register will undertake thorough interviewing and referencing checks and hold, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check that must be registered on the Update Service.

Salary

£140.00 - £170.00 per day

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Qualified Teacher Status.
  • Enhanced DBS check on the update service.
  • Primary placement experience
  • Safeguarding and Child Protection Certificate (we can organise this - if you need one)
