Your new CompanyHays Education is collaborating with a brilliant primary school in the heart of Northampton, seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.Your New RoleIn this role, you will:

  • Provide one-on-one support to a specific pupil within the classroom.
  • Assist with Maths and English interventions tailored to the pupil's needs.
  • Support the pupil with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Manage and encourage positive behaviour.
  • Collaborate closely with the class teacher to ensure the pupil's needs are met.

What You'll Need to SucceedTo be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A full DBS on the update service / apply for one through us.
  • 2+ years of experience working within a primary school.
  • A Level 2 or above Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • Experience in providing one-on-one support and working with the curriculum, particularly in Maths and English.
