We are collaborating with a dynamic and welcoming primary school in the centre of Northampton, dedicated to creating a caring and supportive atmosphere for all its students. The school takes great pride in its strong sense of community and its commitment to nurturing the academic, social, and emotional growth of every child.Your new role We are looking for a caring and committed Teaching Assistant to join an Early Years Foundation Stage team. Your primary responsibility is to provide high-quality care, safeguarding, and well-being of young children. You will ensure that all policies and procedures are implemented while meeting the children's needs and planning and implementing age-appropriate activities.Some of your other duties include:

  • Preparing and delivering quality play opportunities within a safe and caring environment.
  • Providing refreshments and ensuring that hygiene, health, and safety standards are met.
  • Setting up the play space, including moving furniture and play equipment.
  • Working within the framework of the preschool's policies and procedures and the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Developing and maintaining good communication with all members of the preschool and parents.
  • Modelling good practice.

What you will need to succeed**Ability to adapt and respond to the individual needs of the student **Good behaviour management and organisational skills **SEN experience **You must hold a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a DBS through Hays Whatyou will get in return At Hays, we strive to offer you a personal service and you will collaborate closely with your own Specialist Consultant who truly listens to your requirements.
