Graduate Teaching Assistant - Full-Time - Northamptonshire - Corby, Kettering, Wellingborough, Rushden, Towcester, Northampton, Daventry

Our schools in Northamptonshire are seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistants to join their team as soon as possible. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the classroom teacher to support the learning and development of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the classroom teacher with lesson planning and preparation
  • Supporting the teacher during lessons and helping to manage classroom behaviour
  • Providing one-on-one or small group support to students who may need extra help
  • Marking and grading assignments and tests
  • Helping to create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • A degree in education, or a related subject
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

We offer a competitive salary and a supportive and collaborative working environment. This is a full-time position, and the successful candidate will be expected to work Monday to Friday during term time.
