Position Overview: We are looking for a compassionate and driven Inclusion Lead to champion inclusive practices across the school. This role is ideal for experienced behaviour specialists or senior Teaching Assistants who have successfully supported students with additional needs, managed interventions, and worked closely with staff to implement positive behaviour strategies. The Inclusion Lead will play a pivotal role in ensuring that every student receives the necessary support to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategies to support students with behavioural, emotional, and additional learning needs.

Work closely with teachers, pastoral teams, and external agencies to create inclusive learning environments.

Lead and support intervention programmes focused on behaviour management, social skills, and student engagement.

Monitor and assess the impact of interventions, ensuring continuous improvement and positive outcomes.

Provide coaching, guidance, and training to staff on best practices for inclusion and behaviour support.

Act as a key point of contact for parents and carers, fostering strong home-school relationships.

Uphold the school’s values and ethos, promoting a culture of respect, understanding, and high expectations for all students.
Qualifications & Requirements:

Experience working as a Behaviour Specialist, Senior Teaching Assistant, or in a similar role supporting student inclusion.

Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques, intervention strategies, and SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) support.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, staff, and parents.

A proactive and flexible approach to problem-solving and supporting students with diverse needs.

Passion for fostering a positive, inclusive school culture where all students can succeed.

Additional training in behaviour management, safeguarding, or SEND (e.g., Team Teach, Thrive, or similar) is highly desirable.
