Role Overview:

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support the learning and development of students across primary and secondary schools in Northamptonshire. This full-time role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about education and making a positive impact on young people's lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons
  • Support students with their academic and personal development
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need extra help
  • Assist with the implementation of educational activities and materials
  • Help with phonics for early years (if applicable)
  • Perform other classroom duties as required

Ideal Candidate:

  • Some experience working with young people
  • Classroom experience is advantageous but not essential
  • Phonics experience for early years teaching assistant positions is beneficial
  • Willing to learn and adapt to different educational environments
  • Holds a current DBS on the update service or is willing to obtain one
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and reliable
