Service Engineer (Checkweighers)£38,000 - £45,000 OTE 50K + Van + Bonus + Door to Door Pay + OvertimeNorthampton, East MidlandsAre you a Service Engineer or similar with knowledge of Checkweighers looking for a role that offers door-to-door pay and great opportunities to significantly boost your earnings through overtime and bonuses?

In this role you will be working independently traveling to food, beverage and pharmaceutical manufacturing sites to service and calibrate industrial inspection equipment. This will include checkweighers, x-rays and metal detectors. Full training will be given before heading out on the field from a Birmingham-based HQ. You will be on-call to work reactively one week in five.This company are specialists in the design and development of industrial inspection machinery. With over 1000 employees globally, their equipment can be found across thousands of manufacturing sites worldwide, predominantly in the food and beverage industry.This role would suit a Service Engineer, Calibration Technician or similar from an industrial inspection or manufacturing background looking for an autonomous role offering great overtime, limited on-call and door-to-door pay.The Role:

  • Servicing and Calibrating Industrial Inspection equipment such as check weighers
  • Working autonomously with service planned 1-2 weeks in advance
  • 37.5 Hour week, with increased overtime rates on weekends
  • Bonus incentives for hitting service targets
  • Full training on specialist equipment
  • Staying away up to 2 nights a week, covering the UK
  • On-call one week in five

The Person:
