Responsibilities will include:

-Maintain, service, and repair all manufacturing machinery to ensure optimal functioning.

-Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance (PPM) to identify potential issues before they arise.

-Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in machinery.

-Repair and replace faulty components, wiring, and systems to minimise production downtime.

-Work on DC/AC Drives, motors, safety circuits, PLCs, and sensors

-Work on gearboxes and pumps

-Assist in training and mentoring junior staff or apprentices in safe and effective maintenance practices.

-Work with hydraulic and pneumatic control systems as needed to support manufacturing processes.

-Support the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment as required.

Requirements:

  • Electrical bias
  • Electrical qualification
  • At least 4 years of experience outside apprenticeship
  • Ability to read engineering diagrams
