Job Title: Electronics Engineer (Audio)

Our client is seeking an experienced Audio Electronics Engineer to join their well-established team as part of their continued growth. This role is central to the R&D department, where you will contribute to the development of cutting-edge audio products, taking them from concept and design through to production and ongoing support.
Key Responsibilities
Your role will involve, but is not limited to:
- Taking ownership of projects and designing system architectures.
- Overseeing research and full product development across all stages of the lifecycle for assigned projects.
- Generating and contributing innovative ideas to enhance audio technology.
- Building and testing electronic prototypes.
- Defining technical requirements and specifications for new products.
- Working collaboratively with teams in the UK and overseas on project-specific matters.
- Supporting the R&D department with daily technical tasks.
- Occasional overseas travel may be required (though not essential), offering a great chance to expand your knowledge and experience.
Essential Requirements:
- A degree in electronics or a closely related engineering field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial electronic design, preferably within the audio electronics industry.
- Expertise in working with ADC/DACs (Analog/Digital Converters), op-amps, and similar components.
- Experience in high-speed digital electronics, including microcontrollers and DSPs.
- Proven skills in PCB layout and design.
Desirable Skills:
While not essential, the following skills and attributes are advantageous:
- Proficiency with Altium design software.
- Familiarity with EMC requirements and design considerations.
- Experience managing projects from concept to mass production, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Analytical thinking with excellent numerical abilities.
- Attention to detail and a self-motivated, independent approach to work.
- Flexibility and adaptability in the workplace.
