Reed Talent Solutions (RTS) provides an RPO function to Royal Mail Group (our client) through Angard Staffing Solutions Ltd, delivering over 15,000 unique temporary workers annually to support short term industrial and clerical requirements.

We're looking for an enthusiastic and self-driven Client People Executive to work with us on a permanent basis, working in partnership with Royal Mail. You'll have responsibility for managing more complicated employment issues relating to our workers employed on flexible Angard Staffing contracts.

This role is to continue our focus on improving Angard worker conduct and performance. Our vision for this role is to:

  • manage and improve our approach to resolving conduct and performance issues and related challenges, alongside our Royal Mail partners
  • enhance the experience of both our Angard workers and our client in the interest of making Angard Staffing the leading recruitment partner of its kind

Your main responsibilities would be:

  • Building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and leaders across Angard Staffing and Royal Mail
  • Working with representatives of Royal Mail's HR team and operational managers to enhance worker conduct and performance management processes
  • Investigating and addressing worker conduct and performance issues raised either by Angard Staffing or Royal Mail
  • Supporting disciplinary hearings which are heard by Royal Mail's HR team
  • Managing and coordinating responses to worker grievances which are heard by Royal Mail's HR team
  • Coaching internal Angard Staffing representatives (from Reed) and Royal Mail about best practice worker engagement and agreed management processes
  • Identifying areas of risk and supporting initiatives to protect the reputations of Angard Staffing, Royal Mail and Reed Talent Solutions in the delivery of services.
  • Gathering data from periodic worker and manager 'evaluation of service' questionnaires and making recommendations

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and working collaboratively
  • Experience of multi-tasking and working under pressure
  • Proven customer service skills and strong ability to communicate both verbally and in writing
  • Experience of managing a caseload of employee issues to a satisfactory conclusion within a fast paced industrial or consumer goods sector
