EstimatorNorthampton£45,000 - £50,000 DOEMonday – Friday We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our client’s Midlands-based team. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to contribute to a variety of projects across the UK, with a particular focus on sites near Towcester and Leeds.As an Estimator, you will work on projects across the varying sectors, with budgets ranging up to a million. This role offers a mix of office-based and site-based work, allowing you to manage your own schedule for optimal productivity.Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you will play a crucial role in ensuring projects are accurately costed and remain financially viable. Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively are essential for success in this role.Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and oversee project budgets and cost plans
  • Conduct risk and value assessments
  • Build and maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and internal teams
  • Prepare and evaluate quotations to ensure competitive and cost-effective pricing
  • Collaborate daily with operational and commercial teams
  • Take full ownership of costing for quotations and tender submissions
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in a similar estimating role
  • Background in UK cost management, consultancy, or main contractor projects
  • Experience with refurbishment projects is beneficial
  • A full UK driving license
