PART TIME or FULL TIME hours available!

Here at Impact we are recruiting for a family run business based in Northampton for multiple Production Operatives to join their team on a Permanent basis. As a production operative you will be working as part of a team to support with the supply of small electronic components for customer all across the world. Full Training will be provided but you will ideally have experience in a production role previously.

Hours: Monday-Friday 12pm-5pm (with the opportunity to work additional hours before your shift from 7am)

Pay: 11.44 per hour (Overtime rates available Saturday & Sundays)

Location: Northampton Town Centre

This role involves working with chemicals and delicate customer products, so previous COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) training and a strong attention to safety are essential. The role also includes inspection and cleaning of customer products before coating, ensuring that coatings are applied accurately and efficiently, maintaining equipment, and handling customer products with care.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely handle small electronic parts
  • Apply small parts and chemicals
  • Using equipment and hand held tools
  • Inspect and clean products
  • Maintain accurate records of processes
  • Follow safety protocols
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace

Requirements:

  • COSHH training is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of safe manual handling
  • Previous experience with small equipment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to inspect products with care
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
