Job Role: Shoe Factory Operative

Location: Northampton

Pay Rate: £11.44ph

Hours: Monday-Thursday 07:30-16:30. Friday 07:30-12:30

Job Type: Full Time, Temp to Perm



The client:

Interaction Recruitment are proudly partnered with a leading Shoe Manufacturer in Northampton on their search to add a skilled and experienced Production Manager to their expanding team. Our client has been established for 150 years and manufactures some of the finest brands in the fashion industry.

The Responsibilities:

· The Shoe Room is the last part of the factory before the finished product is sent for distribution.

· You will do finger polishing on the final products to ensure that they leave the factory in the highest quality finish.

· Neatly lace up the finished shoes.

· Boxing up and packing the completed shoes. Due to the value of footwear, this has to be completed to meticulous detail.

· This also has elements of quality inspection. We are wanting someone who will spot when a product isnt completed to the standards expected of the company and be able to use initiative to remedy this before lacing and boxing the products.

· Directly involved with ensuring that production targets are met in line with the Company requirements.



The Requirements:

· Previous experience in a footwear environment would be beneficial.

· Experience in quality checking is required.

· Meticulous attention to detail.

· These are skilled roles and so you must be good with your hands.

· Reliable and positive attitude.

· Ability to maintain focus levels.
