We are seeking a dedicated Finance Analyst to join our national client within the FMCG and manufacturing industry. This role is fundamental in supporting the financial structure and strategy of our organisation and is an operational role which requires someone who is really wanting to get involved and stuck in with the operation. You will enjoy a fast pace of work a role where each day is different.

Description

  • Conduct financial analysis to aid business decision making.
  • Prepare and present financial reports.
  • Assist in budget planning and management.
  • Partner the manufacturing team to provide timely analysis and information to support business decisions
  • Understand key drivers within the operations - KPIs, costs etc
  • Use insight to inform and advise local operational and strategic decision making
  • Collaborate with various departments to optimise financial operations and challenge effectiveness of current processes
  • Work closely with the finance Business Partner in areas of finance and governance
  • Produce variance analysis
  • Produce analysis and reporting to aid in weekly management accounts
  • Develop/validate new product pricing, costing, margin analysis
  • Contribute to financial forecasting and risk analysis.

Profile

A successful Finance Analyst should have:

  • A strong academic background in finance, accounting, or a similar field.
  • Part qualified - study support is available
  • Experience within a finance analysis role previously
  • Background in manufacturing or FMCG would be hugely advantageous
  • Strong understanding of cost reduction
  • A previous understanding of how an operation works and KPIs involved (manufacturing or industrial industry)
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong on excel
  • Understanding of financial regulations and standards.
