#BelongWithUs Come and join us as a customer focused and results driven Finance Analyst and be part of a hugely successful and friendly team.The Role: As a Finance Analyst,  you’ll play an important part in the finance team.  At City Plumbing, we have a long history of providing our Finance Analysts with funding and incentives to complete their Finance qualifications, with countless examples of Finance Analysts progressing into more Senior roles within our Finance team.This could be YOU!Key Responsibilities Record and monitor approvals and charges, accurately processing prepayments and accruals for contracts on a monthly basis.Assist the Finance BP in forecasting and budgeting cost lines.Liaise on an ongoing basis with the Leadership teams to understand the profile of contracts - new, expiring, and renewals.Assist the Finance BP in the monitoring of spend Assisting the Finance partner covering Mercury with transaction and purchase ledger downloads.Perform other ad hoc duties as and when requiredThis is a hybrid-based opportunity with true flexibility to work from home, but you should be within commutable distance of our newly refurbished offices in Crick, NorthamptonshireYou: You’ll live and breathe our Customer First ethos, with an innovative and agile approach to problem-solving.  You’ll enjoy working collaboratively with the wider Finance team and you’ll thrive on delivering excellent support to the wider team.Skills and competencies Part Qualified or with a view to start the equivalent (think ACCA/CIMA/ACA). We provide study support and incentives!Experience working within a Finance support role (purchase ledger experience in particular).Analytically-minded with experience of, or desire to, work alongside senior stakeholders.Commercial experience in financial modelling (reporting, budgets, month-end etc). Strong communication and presentation skills, with excellent time-management.You’ll have an analytical mind and be someone who enjoys working alongside senior stakeholders, by showing your initiative and desire to find solutions to problems.It is highly likely you will have worked in any of the following roles and/or markets, and worked with the following products and/or services: ACCA, CIMA, ACA, Assistant Management Accountant, Building Products, Construction, Finance Assistant, Finance BP, Finance Graduate, Finance Manager, Financial Analyst, Google Sheets, IT Finance, Junior Finance Analyst, Purchase LedgerUs: From boilers to bathroom suites, tubing to towel rails and everything in between, City Plumbing has all the products our customers need to complete the job.
