The Operational Risk Specialist will provide expertise and support the second line of defence in our client's risk management framework, ensuring sound operational risk practices across the organization. The responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing operational risk policies and procedures.
- Conducting risk assessments and audits to measure the effectiveness of existing controls.
- Identifying and analyzing potential operational risks within the organization's processes.
- Collaborating with various departments to enhance risk awareness
- Producing risk reports and presentations for senior management to aid in decision-making.
The ideal candidate should display profound capabilities in the following areas:
- In-depth understanding of operational risk management principles.
- Experience in a second line risk function within a regulated banking environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
