This newly created role presents an exciting opportunity to lead financial operations, improve the quality of financial information, and support key decision-makers across the organisation.
In this role, you will:
- Oversee financial control and forecasting, ensuring the organisation remains in an outstanding financial position.
- Lead on financial planning, working closely with key stakeholders to improve scenario planning and the accuracy of projections.
- Manage and develop the finance team, including the Head of Finance and wider finance function, ensuring a strong customer-focused approach.
- Act as a key liaison for internal and external audits, ensuring compliance and effective financial governance.
- Work closely with the Head of Estates to oversee maintenance expenditure and capital projects.
- Support budget holders across the organisation, ensuring financial information is effectively communicated and understood.
- Lead the finance business partnering function and drive cultural improvements within the team.
- Play a critical role in the annual budget-setting process, working closely with senior leadership to align financial planning with organisational goals.

The Ideal Candidate will:
- Be a fully qualified Accountant and have experience in a similar Deputy Finance Director role.
