Are you a commercially astute finance professional looking to make a meaningful difference at board level? Our client, a leading manufacturer based in Northampton, is seeking a Finance Business Partner to join their dynamic finance team.

This established manufacturing business has a strong market position and ambitious growth plans. With a turnover exceeding £100m and international operations, they offer an environment where your commercial insights will be valued and acted upon.

As Finance Business Partner, you'll work directly with the CFO and senior leadership team to provide strategic financial analysis that drives business decisions. This isn't a traditional reporting role - you'll be expected to challenge, influence and add genuine commercial value.

Key responsibilities include:

• Partnering with operational directors to identify profit improvement opportunities
• Leading financial analysis for major commercial decisions and capital investments
• Developing insightful management information that tells the story behind the numbers
• Contributing to strategic planning and forecasting processes
• Presenting financial insights directly to the board

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with proven business partnering experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting. More important than your technical accounting skills is your ability to translate complex financial data into actionable commercial insights.

You'll be:

• An excellent communicator who can speak the language of both finance and operations
• Analytical but also able to see the bigger picture

• Salary: £60,000-£70,000 depending on experience
