Finance Manager

Our client, an award winning SME in Northampton, is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their team.

You will be providing vital financial information to drive growth while working closely with the CEO and Managing Director.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Producing monthly management accounts and reporting including P&L and balance sheet.
  • Managing and mentoring a small finance team including appraisals, training and monitoring of workload.
  • Preparing quarterly VAT returns and other HMRC submissions.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely processing of the monthly payroll.
  • Reviewing financial processes, systems and controls ensuring compliance and suggesting improvements.
  • Assisting in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.

You should have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar position within the SME sector. Qualified, part qualified and QBE will be considered for this hands-on role. You should have good Excel skills, be pro-active, a decision maker and able to prioritise a high volume workload.
