This is a newly created Finance Manager role based in Northampton as the company is in the process of re-shaping their Accounts Team.
Looking after a team of three, your role will be more focused around producing management accounts, reporting and assisting in replacing their existing system (sage) and moving it across to Xero.
You’ll be working closely with the MD and other Directors of the business, and you will find that this is a very visible role where you will have the autonomy to shape the department and your role within the company.
There is a lot of potential with this position and the ideal opportunity for someone to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in.
In terms of the company, they are a £12M t/o and have around 300 staff … The introduction was made through their firm of Accountants and they will be on-hand to offer support in the long-term.
In the short-term, you will have a long and detailed handover with the current Accountant so you will have the smoothest landing possible to get you up to speed.
Experience is favoured over qualification here … You’ll find the working environment fun, outgoing and personable, much like the industry they are involved in. … This is not the position for a back-office Accountant.
