We are on the lookout for a Finance Manager to join our dedicated and inclusive fulfilment team. This role is integral to delivering high-quality, cost-effective service and support to our operations and commercial teams. Day to Day of the role:- Serve as the analytical financial core of the business, understanding all cost drivers and processes in the pick, pack, and distribution operations.
- Produce concise reports and analyses that are easily comprehensible, supporting and liaising with senior management.
- Collate and report weekly volume, revenue, and gross margin accounting/operational information.
- Handle day-to-day and month-end reporting.
- Partner with operational and account management teams to ensure excellence in data billing and customer services.
- Be willing to work on the warehouse floor as needed to fully grasp operational costs and processes.
- Proven experience in business or financial roles, ideally within logistics or a similar sector.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Knowledge of financial procedures, management accounts, ledgers, accruals, and prepayments.
- Ability to question and challenge data and processes with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong analytical skills to investigate and analyse data, identifying trends and anomalies.
- Dynamic and self-motivated, able to work autonomously and manage conflicting demands.
- Part or fully qualified ACCA or AAT; strong QBE candidates are also encouraged to apply.
