The Role
As the Group Financial Accounting Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in our financial reporting process.
We’re looking for a detail-oriented ACA or ACCA qualified professional who has solid experience in group reporting and technical financial accounting.
You’ll be working alongside an ambitious finance team, helping ensure accuracy in consolidated financial statements and supporting the business in making strategic, data-driven decisions.
As you'll also be leading your own team we are keen to understand your depth of experience in leadership., coaching, and development.
Technical Expertise
- Prepare and review consolidated financial statements for the group.
- Ensure compliance with UK GAAP, US GAAP, IFRS, and other technical accounting standards.
- Assist with the group’s month-end and year-end close processes.
- Support in delivering financial analysis for key stakeholders, including senior management.
- Manage intercompany reconciliation and consolidation activities.
- Partner with internal teams to streamline financial reporting processes.
- Contribute to ad-hoc projects to support business growth and change
Must Have's
- ACA or ACCA Qualified with a depth of post qualification commercial experience
- Proven experience in group reporting and financial consolidation, ideally from a complex & global group structure
- An excellent understanding of IFRS, UK & US GAAP, SOx would be a distinct advantage
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets
