Marks Sattin are working in partnership with a leading logistics organisation in the Northamptonshire region to recruit a Supply Chain Finance Manager on a full-time, permanent basis. The position is based in office (Monday - Friday), so the ideal candidate will be within a commutable distance to my clients Northamptonshire offices.The Supply Chain Finance Manager will support the Head of Finance in driving the financial performance of the Northamptonshire Fulfillment Centre. As Supply Chain Finance Manager you will deliver financial analysis to understand the cost drivers across the fulfillment centre and will play a critical role in the provision of commercial insight to aid key decision making across the senior management team.Responsibilities of the Supply Chain Finance Manager will include:

  • Reporting to the Head of Finance and assist in driving the financial performance and efficacy of processes
  • Collating and reporting weekly volume, revenue, and gross margin accounting/operational information, as well as the day-to-day and month-end reporting
  • Partnering, supporting the operations teams to ensure the highest standard of customer services
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Financial analysis and maintaining financial models to monitor performance
  • Using core accounting skills and ensuring accuracy at all times
  • Using commercial acumen to assess key opportunities and potential risks that could impact the performance of the fulfillment centre
  • Challenging the status quo (if necessary) to ensure processes are as robust as possible

To be considered, you will:

  • Be a qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or Qualified by Experience
  • Have experience in a similar role
  • Ideally have experience within the logistics/supply chain industry
  • Have excellenr communication skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders at all levels
  • Possess commercial acumen and analyrtical skills to drive business and financial performance
  • Have advanced excel skills
  • Be experienced in financial procedures, management accounts, ledgers, accruals, and prepayments.
  • Have confidence to question and challenge the status quo, particularly data and processes
  • Have excellent attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
