Job Purpose

  • Manage a varied tax portfolio, from planning through to completion including liaison and billing.
  • Preparation of corporation and personal tax returns.
  • Preparation of tax repayment claims and related working papers.
  • Provide tax advisory support to clients and colleagues.
  • Lead liaison with HMRC, proactively handling queries.
  • Deliver tax planning advice from time to time.
  • Support with other ad hoc financial assignments for clients.
  • Present work and briefings to staff on tax topics.
  • Work closely with senior management to help shape the strategic direction of the tax offering.
  • Work autonomously whilst ensuring expectations, deadlines, and budgets are being met.
  • Build trusted and long lasting client relationships.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure clients are benefitting from all business services.
  • Mentor staff through constructive feedback, knowledge sharing, and training opportunities.
  • Identify opportunities to introduce and cross-sell company services to the tax portfolio.
  • Set an example as a hands-on and supportive manager.

  • CTA qualified with at least two years' post qualification experience.
