We are partnered with a leading food manufacturing and processing business based in Northampton who are looking for a Hygiene Manager on a permanent basis.   • Carrying out hygiene operations including managing the cleaning team, clean down management and following cleaning construction cards.
  • Occasional requirement to take swab samples to check cleanliness.
  • Ensuring product Food Safety, product integrity, product quality is maintained, and new legislation and codes of practice are implemented.
  • Ensure compliance to relevant procedures, accurate completion of relevant documents- any deviation must be reported to Technical Department. Standards include HACCP, CCP/LCP
  • The general adherence of working procedures by all staff, and the communication of work instruction to all staff.
  • Research ways to increase profitability and lower risk.
  • Liaising with supervisors and team leaders to monitor any quality issues to prevent standards being compromised.
  • Creating resolutions to any issues that may occur in the factory and implementing this
Hygiene ManagerEssential Experience/Skills/Qualifications
  • Previous experience working within the food manufacturing industry
  • Experience supervising or leading a team within the hygiene department
