Accounts Senior / Client Manager - Accountancy Practice

We’re working with a progressive and well-established Top 100 accountancy firm that’s looking to welcome an experienced practice accountant into their friendly and supportive team in Northampton.

The Role:
As an Accounts Senior or Client Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering a high-quality service to a broad portfolio of clients. You'll work closely with both experienced colleagues and those still in training, supporting client delivery and internal development alike.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of year-end accounts for limited companies, sole traders, partnerships, and charities
- Monthly and quarterly management accounts
- Preparation and submission of personal and corporate tax returns
- Building strong client relationships and beginning to manage your own portfolio
- Planning and overseeing workflow across the team
- Conducting client meetings and providing proactive advice to add value
- Supporting the development and training of junior team members
- Embracing and promoting new technology within the firm
- Demonstrating commercial awareness and contributing to business performance.
About You:
- ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience
- Previous experience in an accountancy practice environment
- Strong technical knowledge across accounts and tax
- Confident communicator with a client-first approach
- Comfortable using modern accounting software and embracing new technology
