MONDAY TO FRIDAY: START TIMES 04:00 - 08:00

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in the Northampton area.

Rates of Pay:

• Basic: £15.75 per hour

Day to Day Duties

Your duties as a Class 1 Driver will involve but not be limited to:

• Depot to Depot trunking and occasionally required to move pallets
• Occasional nights out as required
• Operate and drive various Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
• Perform pre and post vehicle inspections
• Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers

Essential Skills

As a Class 1 Driver you will need to:

• Hold a valid UK Category CE Driving Licence
• Have at least two years' experience driving CE vehicles
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
• Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card
• Must be able to speak and read a good level of English

Desirable Experience

• Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial
