Curtain & Blind FitterLocation of Office: Central NorthamptonLocation of Work Site: Mainly these counties - Northants, Beds, Leics, Warks, Oxon, Herts, Bucks, Cambs + sometimes working anywhere in the UK - overnight stays may be required.Working Hours: Start time can be as early as 5am, although usually 6am. Working day can finish at 5pm, although usually 3:00pm. Monday to Friday with occasional work on Saturdays when required.Salary: £28,000 pa (salaried position) - overtime is paid for hours worked at the weekend at a flat hourly rate. Payroll is processed monthly.Benefits: 28 days holiday - 8 bank holiday days and 20 days to take on a first come, first served basis throughout the calendar year + the three working days between Christmas and New Year are holiday days which are paid and extra to the 28 days holiday.Pension scheme available to all staff - staff member and company pay in.The Role: A Curtain and Blind Fitter will ensure products are fitted to a high standard, liaising with customers on site and getting the job completed in a timely manner. The work carried out varies from repair work to full installations for a number of clients across various sectors such as Universities, Hospitals, Schools and Building Contractors.This role is suited to someone who can drive, is experienced in the installation of curtains and blinds or somebody with practical ability or experience in a hands-on based role. Training will be provided from a team of fitters with over 25 years' experience.The fitting teams start work in the mornings and work until the jobs are complete.The Candidate: A successful candidate should have experience with hand held tools and a full driving licence. You will need a CSCS card and a PASMA certificate, both can be gained whilst working for client and are happy to travel throughout the UK when required, with the possibility of staying out overnight. You must be happy to work on Saturdays when required, although this is kept to a minimum.
