Gym Sales & Retention ManagerHealth Club, Northampton£26,000-£31,000 (plus generous bonus structure)  An exciting opportunity to join an industry leading health club and gym chain as Sales & Retention Manager in the vibrant town of Northampton! This is an essential in club role as you will be responsible for leading the club membership sales, retaining the members by providing top class customer service and managing your team to help to achieve this.  This beautiful club includes 2 swimming pools, a spa and sauna, a large gym and multiple fitness studios.  The main responsibilities of the Sales & Retention Manager are:
  • Direct accountability and responsibility for membership performance in club including sales, retention and ‘on hold’ memberships
  • Be accountable for all sales, ensuring budgets are achieved and be accountable for retention numbers ensuring all activity is completed to help achieve targets
  • Ensure prompt handling of all membership enquiries overseeing any escalations
  • Lead your team and ensure the club is fully staffed to deliver exceptional customer service at all times
  • Set clear goals, targets and KPIs for your team ensuring they are equipped and motivated to deliver exceptional performance and member satisfaction
  The candidate:
  • Excellent communication skills and previous experience in leading a customer facing team
  • Strong interpersonal skills which make you approachable to members, prospects and colleagues
  • A desire to help individuals achieve their goals and to go the extra mile for the members
  • Strong people management and organizational skills
  • Proven track record of surpassing financial targets, success and growth
