There’s not many agencies which are continually voted as best in their sector over multiple years, but this small but delightful agency has done just that, and they’re looking for a Senior PR Account Executive to join their team and continue that winning streak! You will be an all-round PR practitioner, but this particular role has a real emphasis on the writing side of things, so if that might be you, keep reading.
The role:
Our client really focuses on the construction sector, and that’s not just buildings but their clients provide everything that might go into the while building process and also the environmental issues that go along with the industry. Whilst their roots were as a PR agency, they’ve evolved into being a specialist in all content and so their digital techniques are second to none. This role will involve traditional PR elements such as media relations, but there is quite a big emphasis on writing, and boy to they love to write! It could be magazine features, opinion pieces, blogs and website copy as well as social media, scripts for video, content for podcasts or even case studies. Naturally, this will involve research and you’ll be interviewing people to get right into the story, and you’ll also be able to tailor your writing for the most appropriate audience.
As well as writing, you’ll be organising photoshoots, managing content calendars, and working with the digital specialists to plan social media campaigns. You’ll also go on site visits, so toe-tectors and high viz will definitely become part of your wardrobe.
What we’re looking for:
We’re really looking for someone with a couple of years’ of PR experience under their belt. Agency gained would be fabulous, but they’re open to considering candidates from a b2b background especially if there’s any link to construction. Naturally, you’ll be able to showcase your writing abilities, and you’ll also be able to show that you can be interested in the sector and that you’ve got a curious mind. This is a small team environment, so be prepared to muck in as and when required with things that might not officially be listed in your job description. This does mean though that you’ll also be exposed to opportunities to broaden your experience - whether that’s appearing in a video, to digital advertising.
What’s on Offer?
Salary for the role is between £28-35,000 dependant on experience. They work on a hybrid basis, 3 in 2 out, and you must be able to drive and have access to a car due to their location. There is a bus stop, but no one has ever seen a bus in the vicinity. There’s a training budget just for you and there’s flexible working hours as well. You will need to be a dog lover though, as they do allow office dogs (one at a time!). All in all, they’re rather fabulous and this would be an excellent environment to continue learning your trade.
