Our client has recently relocated to a state-of-the-art facility to support their continued growth and evolving business. They are seeking a dedicated and hands-on Shift Supervisor to join their team.This is a physically demanding position, as many products are heavy and require regular lifting. The ideal candidate must be comfortable with this aspect of the role.Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee shift operations to ensure an efficient workflow within the warehouse environment.
  • Support the Warehouse Operative team, ensuring adequate resources are in place to meet business demands.
  • Work as part of the team, assisting with picking and general warehouse duties as required.
  • Operate MHE equipment including Reach Truck, Counterbalance, and PPT.
  • Ensure pick and pack operations meet agreed SLAs while maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Manage safety procedures and optimise warehouse processes to improve efficiency.
  • Minimise stock loss by ensuring accurate put-away, replenishment, and bulk movements.
  • Conduct quality control checks on inbound and outbound deliveries.
  • Maintain a safe working environment, performing daily inspections and audits.
  • Ensure warehouse operatives wear and use the appropriate PPE at all times.
Skills & Experience Required:
  • Strong understanding of logistics operations and warehouse procedures.
  • Valid & in-date FLT/MHE licences (Counterbalance, Reach Truck, and PPT).
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to lead by example and motivate a team.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
  • Ability to prioritise, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supervising small teams or processes in a logistics setting.
  • Drive and determination to meet and exceed SLAs and quality targets.
