An established civil engineering contractor is recruiting a Sub Agent or Site Agent for a projectdue to commence in Northampton.
The business carry out a number of schemes as part of frameworks throughout the UK and will self deliver the works whilst also utilising specialist sub contractors when required.
This project involves road widening and improvement works to existing footpaths, therefore previous highways experience is beneficial. You will br required to take ownership of the project by managing costs, quality and programme whilst maintaining a positive relationship with the client.
Duties will include:
- Writing risk assessments and method statements
- Working with the commercial team to manage change and EWN
- Overall responsibility of health and safety
- Managing design and quality of the project
- Some minor setting out when required
- Ensuring the project meets deadlines by managing the programme
