About the School: This school is a multi-sited AP Academy providing Alternative Education for young people who are permanently excluded, at risk of exclusion, or have emotionally based school avoidance. They also cater to pupils with EHC Plans who would otherwise attend specialist provision. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Hairdressing and Barbering.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with students, ensuring effective behaviour management.
  • Identify and support students with special educational needs, ensuring they make expected progress.
  • Maintain an attractive learning environment.
  • Mark student's work, assess and moderate standards, and use progress data to inform teaching.
  • Prepare students for public examinations and be accountable for their performance.
  • Liaise with staff, students, and parents within the academy and partner schools.
  • Follow City and Guilds guidance and expectations.
