JOB TITLE: Graphic Designer
REPORTS TO: Head of Marketing
AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY: To develop visual assets that will captivate, inform and persuade, enabling the client to achieve and exceed their business goals. To be a brand guardian ensuring consistency in the global portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop and manage visual brand assets, including website content, social media content, catalogues/brochures, B2C and B2B marketing materials, presentations, internal communication, and newsletters, ensuring they meet the company standards and brand expectations accurately, achieving consistency across all marketing channels
• Work closely with the other members of the internal and wider marketing team to understand and contribute to their ideas, producing innovative visual content which will effectively assist in achieving the company’s goals and objectives, whilst meeting budgets and deadlines
• Be proactive in developing new ideas and visual concepts to present to the business that will assist in the successful growth of sales
• Have a good understanding of our industry and main competition to make considered improvements to our current visual brand assets that will set us apart from other brands • Review the existing design processes and implement solutions for improvements
• Manage the internal media centre so colleagues can easily find and access images and other assets
• Develop the internal space available for filming and photography allowing more versatility, including for Facebook lives or similar
• Complete regular graphics training to keep on top of new techniques and implement where appropriate
Qualification, Skills, and Experience:
• Graphic Design Degree
• 3 years plus relevant graphic design experience following completion of a Graphic Design Degree
• Experience/knowledge of working withing the ecommerce markets
• A good understanding of branding and marketing, with the ability to vary visual style and layouts depending on the project
• Proficiency across the Adobe creative software suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Aftereffects)
• Skilled in every step of the design process from concept to the final deliverable
• A creative thinker with the ability to solve problems
• Great interpersonal and communication skills • Able to work autonomously and proactively with excellent time-management and organisation skills
• Able to multi-task and manage different projects at one time
• Experience in Microsoft Office
SALARY: £30,000 - £33,000 DOE
HOURS OF WORK: Monday - Friday
The team do work one day from home, the rest is generally office based
